Concert Band (Robert Parker) brought its summer season to a close on Bank
Holiday Monday when the 60-strong band made its debut appearance at Newark Town
Council's 2009 'Brass Explosion'.
The battlements of Newark Castle provided an atmospheric backdrop to the event, which saw three bands, Nottingham Concert Band, Newark Town Band and Kibworth Band, entertain an audience of over 1,000 for nearly four hours, with the evening concluded by a firework finale. |
